WAAAAAHHH!!!!!!
We just celebrated Christmas, international style!!!
In the 4th floor common room we dined on Norwegian, Swiss, Korean, German, Finish, Czech, Polish ... lots of food!!!!
It was fantastic, and everyone contributed enough food to fill every belly- including Rogers insatiable appetite!!! There was pasta, potatoes, sushi-equivalent-but-better, beef, soup, sausages, EVEN SAUERKRAUT!!!!!!! The flop of the night, but they earnt points for trying, was the Polish "Poppy" Pasta, which tasted like dirt, and noone ate it :P
The Kiwi Three made Pavlova, because, against popular belief, it IS a kiwi desert, we've even been told people have written books on the history of the Pav, which proves is a Kiwi dish!! hahaha :P Anna decorated the Pav and made it look SO awesome!! Kylea and I also "whipped up" a potato salad, which was delish and we were very proud of it! And at the end of it all- the Pav was a big hit :D
Anyway!! We had Christmas songs, and even SECRET SANTA!!!! (Thanks Sarah who organised the whole thing!!) Santa even visited us!!!!! Everyone looked super happy with their pressies-- I got a bottle of Glühwein (yusssssss) and... A TICKET TO CHRISTMAS KULT @ REPUBLIC!!! WOOOHOOO!!!!!! So Happy!!! Its the day before we go away, which it think will be the best send off pressie for all of us :D
Jordi, that fantastic person, made this fantastic (long!) video, kind of like the one i made for Tash! It included most of the Erasmus students (+ Roger, ha ha ha!) and we all watched it and laughed and had a good time... After, all I wanted to do was hug Rita and Jordi, so I did, then everyone else followed, we were all so appreciative :)
The party kind of died after the film, but thats probably because we were all so full of food, it was ridiculous!!
Anyway, im off to sleep :) xx
